I make work with mime, movement, and installations. I perform and make my work as ‘youngtseng' or ‘Young Tseng' from my given name 仰正.
In my work I often experience shifts of perspective when I pay close attention to how and where I move and stand. The connections around and between myself, other bodies, and the temporary space we share flow and change from moment to moment. I try to bring this experience of present moments into everything I make. In doing so I hope to share a bubble of time into which you and I can breathe together, listen, and find possibilities for change.

One of my grandmother's admonishments, embedded in me from a young age.
